Henric Aryee is a digital artist living in Stockholm with roots from Ghana and Sweden. At an early age his parents realized he had a gift for painting and drawing, and he has cultivated it ever since. By 12 he knew he wanted to be a professional artist, and would later master his craft at one of the world’s most prestigious art schools, Parsons School of Design in both Paris and New York. His unique life experiences and travels around the world have influenced his eclectic style of contemporary digital painting.
His most recent series of works entitled Hiphop ❤️ Crypto explores the deep links between the subcultures of Hiphop and cryptocurrency, and were sold as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. This collection lead directly to official collabs with Mike Tyson, MoneybaggYo, Mac Mall, and collectors such as Lil Baby in 2022.
Alongside his own art Henric has illustrated a bestselling series of children’s books entitled Karma and Jonar, with over 200 000 copies sold. This series of books is currently being adapted into an animated series for major streaming release by Nent Studios and Viaplay in Fall 2022.
Henric Aryee is currently preparing to create a new and stunning collection of artworks for exhibition in 2024.
